OC Sports News |
On a somewhat changeable day on Friday 20th May at The Royal Belfast Golf Club, OCs competed for The Allison Cup. It is 95 years since the trophy was donated to The Old Campbellian Society for the Annual Golf Tournament. There were a number of visitors as well who were most welcome, one of whom who came all the way from Whistler in Canada. (We think he may have been over visiting rather than having made the trip specifically to play!)
The winner this year was Roger Busby (8234) with 39 points and was presented the trophy and his prizes by the President, Mr Mike McAllister (7444). We are again most grateful to RBGC and their staff for their hospitality and service.
A full report will follow in The Old Campbellian magazine at Christmas.
