The Annual Remembrance Service will take place at the College on Friday the 9th of November 2018. Each year the College extends an Open Invitation to OCs to attend the Service, however, please note that it is important that you inform the Society Office (02890 763 613) if you wish to attend the Service in order that seating be allocated accordingly. If you do not do so then a pupil may have to give up a seat for you immediately before the Service. Please arrive to be seated by 1015hrs. Service Commences at 1025hrs and is followed by Coffee & Tea in the Library. Following this a photograph will be taken in the Central Hall to Commemorate 100 Years since the end of WW1. Those OCs in attendance, members of the CCF and Silhouettes from “There But Not There”, will each represent one of the Fallen. The Old Campbellian Society plans to hold its inaugural Business Lunch on Friday the 16th of November 2018 in The Ulster Reform Club. The event is open to OCs, Parents and Guests, meeting in The Old Billiard Room circa 1200 and seated for lunch by 1230. Myles Nelson (7024) will say a few words and Paddy Wallace (8489), former Ulster and Ireland, Grand Slam Winner, will welcome those in attendance, Lunch will commence at 1245. The three course lunch, costing £30.00, should be finished by 1400 and attendees may wish to leave then or stay longer in the Club. It is planned that the event becomes an annual mid-November diary fixture. In addition to raising awareness of the College's 125th Anniversary, the Business Lunch will provide a great opportunity for groups of OCs to get together in a relaxed setting. Paddy Hirsch (6993) has kindly donated five editions of his historical thriller " The Devil's Half Mile" to the College.
