OC Ball 2019 & 125th Celebrations

Over 200 OCs, Parents & Guests Attended The OC Ball On Friday The 25th Of October
The College had an Autumnal feel to it, courtesy of Blue Moon Events, at the OC Ball on Frday the 25th. T3Q entertanied OCs, parents and friends at the Reception Drinks in the Dining Hall where everyone mingled with a glass of fizz. Following the Welcome Speech by the Society President, Sam McIlveen (6446), everyone followed the College Pipe Band & Pipe Major Grahame Harris (10321) in an unheralded orderly fashion into the Central Hall to their various tables. Posh Nosh once again did a fine job with the catering and initially Dave Tughan (7487) sang to much applause and it wasn’t long before guests were dancing to the “The Diesel Drinkers” - who get better with age!

During the meal a silent collection was taken for The Henry James Campbell Bursary, this excellent scheme enables a young man to join the College who otherwise would not attend the school and helps him on the journey from Year 8 to Year 14.

A great time was had by all and a big thank you to everyone for making the effort on the night and for supporting the Society.

Please note that without the financial support from our Sponsors the event would not be able to take its current format. Please support them as and when you get a chance.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated to the Henry James Campbell Bursary - just over £1,000.00 was raised and has been handed over to the College - thank you.
