Obituary: Michael Howard Fleming (OC 5014)

The Old Campbellian Society was saddened to learn of the passing of Michael Howard Fleming (OC 5014) formerly of Davis's House , who died on 24 March 2026, following a short stay in the Marie Curie hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael was born on 13 July 1948 and attended Campbell College and Cabin Hill where he became part of the College's long-standing community of pupils and Old Campbellians. He left the College in July 1967 and went on to pursue a career in the building society sector, becoming an Assistant Manager. He had a great love of plants and nature and enjoyed gardening and long walks.

Michael will be remembered by his family and friends with great affection. He was a dearly loved brother to Moira and Richard ( OC 4587) a much-loved uncle and great-uncle, and a valued member of his wider family.

The Old Campbellian Society extends its sincere sympathy to Michael's family and friends at this sad time. We remember Michael as a member of our Old Campbellian community and offer our thoughts and support to all who knew and loved him.
