Earlier this month the College received some good news about Campbell’s home-schooling provision, CCB Online during lockdown.  The College was announced as the Winners in two National Competitions organised by Firefly as part of their #HeroesofHomeLearning competition.

Firefly ran competitions in three areas in total and after a process of short-listing and voting, CCB Online came out on top for ‘Rethinking Teaching and Learning’ and ‘Engaging Parents in the Learning Conversation’.  You can read more about both of these successes on the Firefly website, including Q&A with our Head of Digital Learning, Darren Walker:

Firefly is used extensively by schools in Great Britain, including the majority of top-performing public schools.  The College was delighted to be recognised for the way in which it had adapted and evolved its virtual schooling as it navigated its way through the past three months.  As well as the staff concerned, these awards are testament to the way in which the boys and families responded and engaged.

Well done to everyone involved.
