Best Wishes To All OCs From South Africa
28 Apr 2020
Of Interest
I'd like to send my very best wishes to all OCs whatever their age and wherever they are.

Diana and I hope to visit the UK in October 2020, planning to stay with my daughter in Wimbledon and then visit our few remaining UK relatives and friends.  We hope BA will have opened up again by then and we can fly into Heathrow……..?!!

I heard that Jonathan Moffett (3331) visited from New Zealand last October – we do a Quarterly SKYPE togther with his cousin Rev Dr Richard Gordon (3689) who's in Melrose. Our next one is already scheduled for 6 May.

A bit of news about Robbie Diack who is back in South Africa from Ulster Rugby and is now living close to his old school Michaelhouse in Natal. He's developing houses and, as he puts it, coaching the First XV for pocket money.  When not in lockdown, we see his parents a few times a month - for now it’s only WhatsApp calls, as it is with Robert Frazer (3872) and Rob Twemlow (4543) who're both stil in South Africa.

The 2019 edition of the Old Campbellian Magazine “Quality & Professional” arrived in our RSA PO Box mid-February ± 10 weeks after mailing, that said, our postal service becomes more and more unreliable and I will make more visits to the website for news and updates.

With Very Best Wishes

Ian S Madden (3815)
