This week, staff and students at Campbell College signed the White Ribbon NI Charter - pledging, personally and as a College, never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls in Northern Ireland.

Sadly, this remains a major issue in our society and the College has been working alongside White Ribbon NI for the past two years, enabling students in Years 11 and 12 to complete the ‘Listen – Learn – Lead’ programme.

Signing the White Ribbon NI pledge is another important step in that journey, and we are proud to add our voices to those in the following organisations:

Alliance Party • Antrim & Newtownabbey Council • Antrim Hockey Club • Belfast City Council Carrickfergus Rugby Club • Coleraine Football Club • Department of Health Department of Justice • Diocese of Down & Connor • DUP • End Goal Coaching • Extern Fit Moms • Forest Fitness • Inspire Gym • Irish Football Association • Larne Football Club Latharna Og • Lisburn & Castlereagh Council • Methodist Church Ireland Mid & East Antrim Council • Netball NI • NI Civil Service • NI Opera • NI Prison Service NI Fire & Rescue Service • PSNI • PSNI Football Club • Reds Sports Lounge • Safe in Sound SDLP • Sinn Fein • STLTH Gym • Ulster GAA • Ulster Unionists • World Jujitsu Federation Ireland.

Please see the gallery below for more photos of our signatories receiving their white ribbons from Mrs Bailie.
