Back in June, on one of the longest days of the year, teams from each of Campbell's 7 houses descended on the College's new state-of-the-art fitness suite at dawn. Fuelled by sausage baps from our wonderful in-house catering crew, boys and staff began pedalling their exercise bikes at 5am and didn't stop until dusk arrived at 10pm, some 17 hours later. Working in shifts, boys from Years 8 to 14 and staff of all shapes and sizes kept their bikes moving - with plenty of laughter, music, snacks and a healthy dose of competition along the way. After an intensely fought final hour, Yates's emerged victorious and were awared precious house points, securing the overall House Trophy.
We are incredibly proud of our boys and staff for throwing themselves into this fun and inclusive house challenge. We are also hugely grateful to them, and to the wider Campbell Community, for playing their part in raising over £4,000 towards the £1million needed to complete the refurbishment of the remaining sports buildings.
