The Henry James Campbell Bursary

Over £2,000 was raised for The Henry James Campbell Bursary at the 2019 Annual Dinner.
The President of the OC Society, Sam McIlveen (6446), wishes to thank everyone who contributed to The Henry James Campbell Bursary either during, or after, the Annual Dinner in February.

The OC Society has committed to and will continue to promote the Bursary in the coming years, whereby an illegible candidate who applies for a place in Year 8 and who makes the necessary grade at AQE or GL will receive the support of the Society.

The Bursary will continue throughout each pupils time at the College, the first year being provisioned for by The OC Society.

The Headmaster has already stated that this is a great boost for the College and an important contribution as steps are made to provide more access for pupils who would otherwise not be in a position to attend the College.

The College aims to offer one Henry James Campbell Bursary each year to a Year 8 student and the first full bursary pupil continues to thrive and long may this continue.
