Cancer Research’s 72 Hole Challenge 2018

Cancer Research’s 72 Hole Challenge - OCs happy to help a friend!

Charities
Last Summer one of my closest childhood friends was diagnosed with what all men fear to hear but never believe that it can happen to them. Justin Jolly, one of the most athletic and healthy guys I know, found out he had Testicular Cancer, a reminder that everyone is at risk and that Cancer can develop even in what would seem to be the most unlikely case.’

‘On the topic of balls, Hugo Kinahan (10903), Justin Jolly, Gus Portig and myself  joined Cancer Research’s 72 Hole Challenge. We completed this challenge playing in Ballycastle. The day was tough and exhausting; starting at 4am and finishing the final hole shortly after 8pm.’

‘Thus far we have raised over £5,200, and really want this to continue. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, for not only does it support such an amazing charity, but also raises awareness for such a devastating illness.’
