In the Club’s inaugural season the 1stX1 performed splendidly, winning 10 matches and notching up a very creditable 30 points in the process.

The new facilities were enthusiastically welcomed by visiting players and officials alike; providing the Club with an enviable Home base.

Naturally the College cast an ever watchful eye over proceedings as the season progressed. However we proved ourselves worthy custodians of the facilities, and are pleased to report that the Campbellians Hockey Club will again be the sole (“external”) body to have regular access to the facilities this coming season.

Whilst tertiary academic progression will annually deprive us of Upper Sixth players, the Club is encouraged by the number of new applications for the 2007/08 season (including those from existing Senior 1 clubs).

Hamilton Shipping Limited continue to generously act as our main shirt sponsor; however the Club welcomes offers of financial support from any other interested parties.

Whilst membership continues to grow, we also welcome assistance from anyone interested in Coaching, providing Transport, Umpiring, etc. Simply contact the OC Office if you wish to help.

Membership continues to be open to Current Pupils of the College, Old Campbellians, and Parents/Relatives of either.

The Campbellians Hockey Club enters the 2007/2008 season in excellent shape.

New Season
The 2007 / 2008 Season begins with the first Linden Cup fixture (draw tba) on September 15th.
Senior 2 will begin in early October.

Complete Fixture List, with all results etc will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.

Home fixtures will (as last year) all begin at 1300hrs.
